Alumna Frances Quigley Hyland '40 Honored

 On December 2, 2007, during the church service at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Eugene, Ore., David Wilson, president of Northwest Christian College, presented a certificate of recognition and appreciation to Frances Quigley Hyland '40.
Frances is professor emeritus of speech and served on the faculty at NCC from 1944-1976. Frances, who now resides in Anacortes, Wash., was visiting in Eugene in celebration of her 90th birthday. President Wilson recognized Frances "for her steadfast support of Northwest Christian College and for her service and significant contributions to the College through her gifts of leadership and communication and her caring, Christian character."
